Golf Service Attendant | Laguna National

Summary of position:
  • – Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, golfers area and parking lot
  • – Assist guests and members upon arrival and departure
  • – Assists with bag handling and club cleaning
  • – Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and events
  • – Controls and manages the inventory of locker keys and bag tags
  • – Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the bag podium/ bag drop area, cart staging area, golf cart cleaning area
  • – Prepares golf carts for play adhering to our high standards of golf cart setup

Golf Course Officer (Marshal) | Laguna National

Job Description:
  • – Starts players on the first tee and explains the local rules and conditions for the day
  • – Present a well-rehearsed starter spiel to provide all the information a golfer will be required to know throughout the duration of their round
  • – Maintains a complete and accurate starter sheet
  • – Strongly enforce local course rules and policies such as repairing ball marks, fill divots, and maintains acceptable pace-of-play
  • – Repair ball marks, fill divots, sand bottles are full, replace any hazard stakes or any directional signage on the golf course, and collects trash that may be on the course
  • – On-course player assistance, ensuring player safety and appropriate behavior
  • – Monitor inclement weather, adhere to lightning procedure and responsible for evacuation and safety of golfers

Summary of position:

Golf Relations Officer | Laguna National

Summary of position:
  • – Provide a high level of customer service and assist members and guests with inquires
  • – Assist at Bag Drop area with greeting guests and assisting with golf bags, bag tagging and locker tag

Director of Human Resources | Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore

Oversees all HR functions in order to support hotel operations to achieve its goals and objectives. Ensures that all Corporate HR standards are implemented accordingly. Follow up closely on current labor market situation, especially on the minimum wage issue, in order to be competitive. Establishes and maintains good relationship with all internal colleagues as well as external business partners. Create and contribute to a dynamic and constructive work environment. Lead the HR department as a shared service for the companies related to the LHH ownership.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PERSONNEL
  • – Compiles annual manning guide, salary scale & organization chart
  • – Ensures Dusit company culture and values are active within the team members. Support the company culture with annual action plan of activities
  • – Ensures that recruitment process is handled efficiently and be responsible for the interviews of executives from Department Head level and upper
  • – Makes sure that all new hiring is according to the approved manning guide. This including all promotions and transfers. Monitor to ensure the salary offered to all existing staff and new comers is adequate

Golf Operations Manager | Laguna National

Responsibilities
  • – Supervise and manage Golf Operations staff including Assistant Manager, Executives, Bell-Hop, Buggy Fleet Attendants, Starters, and Marshals
  • – Supervise and manage Pro-Shop/Customer Service staff including Assistant Manager, Executives and Service Associates.
  • – Ensure proper and efficient communication between the Pro-Shop/CSA staff and Golf Operations staff to promote seamless service to members and visitors.
  • – Compile and prepare monthly reports for Golf Operations and Pro-Shop/CSA.
  • – Monitor and check daily sales receipts and make spot checks to ensure the correct cash and charge procedures are being followed.

Job Requirement:

  • – Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory/managerial role in Golf Operations.
  • – Work experience in Asia is preferred but not essential.
  • – A proven level of experience managing a staff of at least 20 – with varying skill sets and cultural backgrounds.
  • – Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. Other languages such as Mandarin or Malay are helpful but not essential.
  • – Experience in a private club atmosphere is a must and experience in a resort club atmosphere is preferred.

  • – Monthly inventory control and purchasing (outside operations, uniforms, buggy parts, first aid etc).
  • – Assist with managing and updating the handicap administration for the members.
  • – Attend handicap meetings and resolve issues pertaining to club handicap.
  • – Assist with overseeing daily operations of outside operations team.
  • – Assist with compiling and updating our Standard operating procedures and Golf Operations Manual.
  • – Secondary duties will involve assisting in golf operation duties (lost and found, VIP guests, locker tags, marshal/ starter duties, lightning warning, inputting scorecards).
CLUB EVENTS
  • – Golf Genius setup and management.
  • – Pre-event preparation setup. Ensure proper setup of the event (Scorecards, Time slots, draw list, pin position, novelty, banners, posters, goodie bags, registration).
  • – Assist with prize presentation and tournament scoring.
  • – Assist with creating and organizing new club events and activities.
CORPORATE EVENTS
  • – Point person to coordinate with Corporate events to ensure all customized materials are prepared (scorecards, banners, novelty events, signage’s, buggy time slot, notices, draw lists).
  • – Assist in events during event day in terms of registration, novelty setup, all arrangements, computation of results.
  • – Assist with email correspondents for Corporate groups and events if required.
  • – Carry out and assist with additional tasks/ duties as required

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • – Provide a high level of customer service and assist with members and guests inquires.
  • – Assist with golf reservations for members and guests (phone, email, in-person).
  • – Performs opening and closing procedures for golf shop.
  • – Responsible for the accountability of all sales and money transactions made during shift.
  • – Maintains an accurate up-to- date Tee Sheet.
  • – Collects Green fees, buggy fees, rental club/shoe fees, corporate fees and late cancellation fees.
  • – Assists members and guests by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
    – Assist with rotating stock, displaying merchandise in an appealing manner and keeping displays well presented and orderly.
  • – Assist with maintaining and monitoring inventory, assist with monthly stock take.
  • – Communicate with Golf Service Attendant, Golf Course officer regarding any changes.

Marketing & Engagement Manager | Laguna Practice

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • – Responsible for formulating, activating and engagement of a comprehensive marketing plan for the Laguna Practice facility, including the Golf Shop, Toptracer Range, two F&B outlets and the Leadbetter Golf Academy
  • – Major KPIs include (but are not limited to);
    • – Driving specific awareness and revenues to the Toptracer facilities
    • – Driving awareness, branding and revenues to the programs available at Leadbetter Golf Academy
    • – Driving general awareness, usage and revenues to the overall practice facilities (ball rentals and retail sales)
  • – Create an annual budget for expenditures on marketing and engagement and then operate within the approved budget to drive activities and revenue for the Laguna Practice facility
  • – Work with the Laguna Resort sales and marketing team to maximize efficiencies within the company for exposure and cross promotion of various profit centres within the company
  • – Oversee organization and implementation of Member-driven events, Demo Days, Range Fairs, and other member-engagement activities to create value-added benefits for Laguna National members.
  • – Create interactive events and activities to promote public areas of the driving range which will assist in driving revenues for all areas of the Laguna Practice facility.
  • – Create and manage a comprehensive social media plan for an integrated platform for the promotion of the Laguna Practice facility and the brand-specific entities within
  • – Cooperate and collaborate with all Club departments (Golf Operations, Membership, Food & Beverage, Hotel, etc) to help maximize all departments and achieve goals of the company as a whole.
  • – Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and facility/product trials with the clients.
  • – Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
  • – Participate in sales calls with other sales team members to acquire new business opportunities.

  • – Reports to the Director of Golf Operations
  • – Coordinates with all concerned personnel to ensure that all activities are accomplished.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • – Minimum certificate/diploma from polytechnic, community college or similar.
  • – Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory/managerial role in marketing or event management
  • – A demonstrable level of experience at conceptualizing, executing and delivering vibrant marketing campaigns and or events with similar requirements to the job description above.
  • – Experience with social media optimization and operation of events/engagement activities
  • – Knowledge of golf is preferred but not required.
  • – Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • – This position is suited to a vibrant individual with a passion for creativity and an engaging personality

This role requires weekend and evening work at certain times and during certain events. This is expected. Flexible arrangement for days off will be allowed to accommodate these requirements.
